Penny Cannon lives in Spokane Washington and says she was born with a desire to express herself.  For over 20 years as a self trained artist she has been doing exactly that, expressing herself through her colorful works.  Penny's art could be classified as abstract expressionism.  Penny says this about her work, "...a study of color and brush stroke. ...shapes, lines and forms meant to create a separate reality from the visual world."  Penny's art bathes you in an aura of color and form.  Her paintings are richly layered meditations that invite the viewer to step outside the world of form and objective content.  We welcome her to Dos Folkies Gallery
